Hotronix® Heated Lower Platen
No more scorched garments.
Applying heat to the underside of threaded garments allows you to apply transfers with your upper platen at a lower temperature, reducing the risk of scorch marks on heat-sensitive fabrics.
Compatible with 16” x 20” Hotronix® Auto Clam, MAXX® Clam, and Air FUSION heat presses (2014 or newer). (Not compatible with Hotronix® FUSION or draw presses).

The below application instructions have been successfully tested on polyester with the following materials*
Lower platen temperature: 300°F Upper platen temperature: 250°F
Time:10 seconds Pressure: Medium(#5 on Hotronix machines)
